Annapoorna -a food initiative
On the special occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, while many celebrate by buying gold, we’ve chosen to give back. Inspired by the belief that acts of charity on this day multiply manifold, Manasa Medical Trust launched Project Annapoorna ,a daily lunch program for poor attenders of patients at government hospitals.Though patients receive free food, their caretakers often cannot afford a meal. On Day 1, we served 200 people — and we aim to continue this every day.Sponsor one day for just ₹1500.Let’s find 365 generous hearts in Chikkaballapur to feed with dignity. This isn’t for fame or recognition, just our way of giving back to the society that raised us.
About the project
For over a year, the program has consistently served more than 50,000 meals, ensuring that no one goes hungry while caring for their loved ones. This initiative runs entirely on donations and community support.
You can be a part of this effort by sponsoring a meal and helping us continue serving those in need.

Inside Our Kitchen
Our kitchen follows strict cleanliness and hygiene standards, with fresh ingredients carefully prepared, cooked, and served through a well-organized process. With this system in place, we have provided meals to over 1,00,000 people.
